Chang from physical sim to esim advice

I want to order an esim for my existing ID plan to see if it will work with the 9esim adapter fitted to my dual sim phone. My question is - does my existing, physical sim, still work or is it deactivated as soon as the esim is installed?

Thanks for your question.

 

Once your eSIM is activated, your existing physical SIM will be deactivated. It's not possible to have both a physical SIM and an eSIM active at the same time for the same mobile number.

 

If you're planning to test your eSIM with the adapter, just keep in mind that activating the eSIM will automatically deactivate your physical SIM.
