Hi I have my mobile number I have had for years and have the £10 SIM card deal with this number on it but now I have signed a contract for a new phone and it’s £30 per month but has a new number. Both with ID mobile. So what I’m asking how to I switch my phone number from the £10 sim to the contract so I can cancel my £10 sim and run only with my contract. lol hope that makes sense. 🙏

Jesus! This is the most stupid situation, honestly. I’m in there as well: got a new PAYG SIM from ID as my old phone contract with ID was coming to an end. Is ID paying for this triangle route? Because this is your fault, you don’t advertise that before buying your new SIM I need to buy a temporary other SIM. Ofcom should be investigating such a practice.

Why ID does not keep customers by offering them all options directly? There is always a better option if buying through uswitch.
Why ID does not allow switch from ID to ID SIM while keeping the number?

Makes me question whether I should stay with ID, what else will I discover.

If you want to leave, go ahead. You’ll face the same issue regardless of the network you choose because that’s how they all operate.
