Hi I'm on the last month of my pay monthly contract and want a new number. Is it possible to stay with id and purchase a new monthly SIM only with a different number then I'm on? I've read articles about paying £25 to change the number but given that my contract is ending, I'm wondering if it'll save me the money by doing it this way. I had been thinking about a new phone but oh well, it can wait.

I can confirm that this is an option. You can take out a new plan with a new number and then cancel your current plan if you’d prefer not to pay the £25.00 fee for a number change.
