Do I need to activate esim?

Hey everyone. I bought a phone and gave the pac code from my previous network to keep the number which is due to switch over on Tuesday, I've been given an esim from ID but I am wondering if that needs to be activated before the switch? Thanks!

No, you can activate it after the switch if you prefer.

    Thank you for getting in touch with us. Please note that once you receive your eSIM, you will need to follow the instructions sent to you in the email alongside the eSIM. You do not need to activate anything when the number changes you will receive a text message confirming that the transfer is complete.
