Don't know my ID mobile phone number

I don’t know my ID mobile number, I have my sim card but have no letter with the phone number on it, I have no emails with the number on it (i’ve checked spam and trash folders), no bill with the number on.

Getting through ID mobile services is near impossible without the number, so I need a solution, as I do not want to be paying for a service I cannot use.

Do you still have the SIM packaging as the number should be on that?

If not, then just call/text another handset using the SIM in question and the number will show up.

I was never able to activate my SIM so I can’t even make a call with it.

Ok well now I’ve recieved a bill, as of 7am 15/02/26, but I can’t view the download of it because I have to create an account with, of course, the ID mobile number, which I don’t have.

Thank you for your message. You should be able to access your bill either via the email we’ve sent you or by logging in with your SIM card number once it’s active.

If you haven’t received your SIM number yet, please wait until it’s fully activated, and you’ll then be able to view and download your bill.

Is this a SIM for a new account? Did you swap from another network via a PAC code? During the swap over (using the PAC code) you would have been given a changeover/activation date plus a confirmation email ‘should’ have been sent. If you have moved your number over then try that in the registration for an account.

If the SIM card was purchased from a shop then it would already be activated and ready for use.

Did you get a notification of your bill via email?? If so, your details are already registered with iD Mobile, that is connected to that SIM, otherwise how else would they know who to send the email to?

If you don’t need to keep a certain number then you can always purchase a new SIM and register with that but I know that that doesn’t help with the problem you are encountering, especially as you are now getting charged for a service you can’t use.

Your best bet is to talk to the Live Chat to get this figured out:-

When you contact the Live Chat :-

Type ‘talk to a person’ in the dialogue box and this will bypass the unhelpful chatbot. 

Please be patient as the agents handle a few conversations at any one time so there will be a delay in connecting with an available agent and also any replies to your query.
