confused for my e sim, searched on Google for my mobile compatibility, says no but as per ID mobile dialled *#06# & pop with EID number means it's compatible, so is it OK for me to order e Sim?

Hi @Kirti Rajput

Good question I can see why you’re getting conflicting information.

The most reliable check for iD Mobile eSIM compatibility is exactly what you’ve already done: dialling *#06# and seeing an EID number. If your device shows an EID, that means it does support eSIM technology.

However, there’s an important second step:

Even if a phone has an EID, it still must also be officially supported by iD Mobile on our network. Some devices can technically use eSIM, but may not be fully approved or may have limited functionality depending on manufacturer or software version.

So in short:

  • ✔ EID present = device is eSIM-capable
  • ✔ iD support list match = fully compatible on our network
  • ❗ Both are needed for guaranteed smooth activation

If Google is saying “not compatible,” I would treat that as a warning sign that your exact model may not be fully supported, even though it has an EID.

What I recommend

Before ordering, please check with our team so we can confirm your exact device model against our network compatibility list.
