I have a Samsung s26, suddenly today, it has shown emergency calls only all day. I have tried everything such as, taking sim out, clean it and put back in. Turned phone on/,Off. Aeroplane mode. Change network. Restarting phone.

Nothing is working and I have an important call in the morning.

I did receive a text last night from you too providing me with a code for my app, which i never requested.

Hi @Mezzer

Thank you for reaching out.

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue, especially as you're expecting an important call tomorrow morning.

The text containing a verification code would only be generated if there was an attempt to access your iD Mobile account. If this wasn't requested by you, we recommend ensuring your account password is secure and not sharing any verification codes with anyone.

Regarding the "Emergency calls only" message on your Samsung Galaxy S26, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Restart your handset if you haven't already done so.
  • Turn Airplane Mode on for around 60 seconds, then switch it back off.
  • Remove the SIM card, check for any visible damage or dirt, then reinsert it securely.
  • Ensure your handset software is fully up to date.
  • Set the handset to 4G/LTE only
    • Open Settings.
    • Tap Connections.
    • Select Mobile Networks.
    • Tap Network Mode.
    • Select 4G/LTE only (or LTE only, depending on the available option).
  • Manually refresh the network:
    • Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Operators.
    • Turn Select Automatically off.
    • Allow the available networks to load.
    • Select Three UK manually.
    • Turn Select Automatically back on.
  • Reset your network settings:
    • Open Settings.
    • Tap General Management.
    • Select Reset.
    • Tap Reset Network Settings.

If possible, we'd also recommend testing your SIM card in another compatible handset. This will help determine whether the issue is with the SIM card or the handset itself.

If the issue persists after completing the above steps, please contact us via Live Chat or send us a direct message through our social media channels, and we'll be happy to investigate this further.
