Hi @ceejay321

Welcome to iD Mobile! It’s great that you’ve already submitted your PAC, but let’s make sure you understand exactly how the switching process works so you aren't left without service.

The Switching Timeline
If your port (switch) is scheduled for today, your number could move over anytime between now and 10pm. Switching isn't instantaneous; it happens in stages across the network throughout the day.

How to Tell When the Switch Happens

You don't need to guess when your number has moved. Just follow this simple check:

  • Keep an eye on your old provider's SIM card.
  • As soon as your old SIM stops working (it will show 'No Service'), that is the signal that your number is in the process of moving over to us.
  • Once that happens, your iD Mobile eSIM will become the active home for your current number.

A Quick Technical Tip
If it’s past 10pm and your number hasn't updated on the eSIM, restart your phone. This forces the device to refresh its connection with our network and pull through your correct phone number.
