esim activation fails every time

Challenges activating esim. Got a new iPhone which is eSIM only, so tried switching from physical sim to eSIM. Every time the thing fails partway through. I am on attempt four, but now being told I need to go into Curry’s… very annoying.

What am I doing wrong here? Is there some secret setting I need to flick on my phone to stand any chance of the eSIM activating? I get a failure message, and of course as the eSIM QR only works once, I had to contact live chat which takes quite a while (I’m grateful for the help, but… sending me to curry’s is not really helpful)

I’ve been getting the same thing, I have 2 eSIMs one (Airalo) works fine and the other fails every time (ID mobile). It’s infuriating, I have deleted and redownloaded it several times. Before it would get stuck on an endless activation, now it just says failed.
