I understand that when switching to a new phone and wishing to transfer my Esim I have to request a new QR code from ID. Is it necessary to delete the old Esim on the old phone Before installing the Esim from the QR code on the new phone? Or can this be done after the new Esim is activated?

Hi @Disae,To get your eSIM onto your new phone, you can request it through our app or online account or contact our customer service team via Live Chat (https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat) or email ussocialqueries@idmobile.co.ukwith a description of your issue.Please don’t delete the eSIM from your old phone, as we’ll need to send an OTP to that number to activate the new eSIM.
