eSim not working after trying to activate several times

I upgraded my phone and contract after iD prompted me to as my 2 year contract had completed. i received the new handset (iphone 17 pro max) and i received my esim via email. i followed all the instructions but the activation worked. since that day, 7 days ago, i have been issued with 6 esims and have spent countless hours on live chat (i can’t call them because i have no working sim!) trying to get it fixed. i was told 2 days in a row that i would receive an email from tech support as it was escalated and heard nothing obviously. they have told me again it has been escalated but i have no trust and i am genuinely at a loss for what to do. has anyone had this and does anyone have any advice. all the agents on the live chat seem to think just issuing a new esim will work and i have told them there clearly is a deeper issue. please help
