eSim switch new number confusion

Hi all.

Just swapped to ID from Sky with ESIM. All seemed to go smoothly although it’s showing a different number as well as my old one as a primary and travel number, travel one being the new number. What’s that all about and how do I get rid of the new number?

many thanks

Hi @Mariesan2408,

Thank you for reaching out. I can understand why that would look confusing.

If you’ve transferred your old number across, that original number becomes your main line once the port completes but the temporary number can sometimes still appear on the device as a “travel” or secondary number, it won’t affect your service once everything has fully settled.

In most cases, the temporary number will either drop off automatically or can be removed in your phone’s settings. If you let me know what handset you’re using, I can guide you through the exact steps to remove it.

Thanks,

Anneline
