faulty charger new s26

Hello
I am currently using the new phone but the charging cable is not working properly for quite a few days . It starts with fast charging and within a second switches to really slow charging. Charger and phone both are new, this is very annoying.
Is there any way to exchange the new charging cable? 
Please help me sort it out it is taking ages to charge my phone.

I’m sorry to hear that the charging cable you received with your phone is not working.

If the phone was purchased within the last 12 months, we recommend visiting your nearest Currys store so the team can inspect the cable for you. If a replacement is required, their technical team will be able to assist further and advise on the next steps.
