faulty phone

Hello, I have an iPhone 16 on a monthly contract with iD Mobile, which is approximately 15 months old.
The screen has developed a green display with lines running through it. The phone has not been dropped or accidentally damaged.
I would like this investigated as a faulty handset. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, and my statutory rights are not limited to the manufacturer's 12-month warranty.
Please arrange an assessment and a repair or replacement at no cost if the fault is covered by my consumer rights or warranty.
Please confirm the process for getting this resolved and, if you believe I am responsible for any charges, explain the reason in writing before proceeding with any paid repair.
Thank you.

    Hi @Carlaads,

I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your iPhone 16.

As the handset is approximately 15 months old, it is outside of Apple's standard 12-month manufacturer's warranty. If you don't have insurance or extended cover in place, we'd recommend contacting Apple directly to discuss the available repair options.

Alternatively, you can arrange a fixed-price repair through Apple or an authorised repair provider, who will be able to assess the handset and advise on the costs involved before any work is carried out.
