fingerprint sensor not working

My fingerprint sensor does not work. I have tried restarting the phone several times. I have removed my fingerprints to try to afd new ones but it dtill says sensor not working. I have very limited function on my phone at the moment due to this. Please can you help?

As the fingerprint sensor is a hardware-related issue, we'd recommend taking the handset to your nearest Currys store for an inspection. Their team will be able to assess the device and determine what may be causing the issue.

 

Unfortunately, we're unable to confirm in advance whether there will be any charges for the inspection or any repair that may be required, as this will depend on the outcome of their assessment and the applicable warranty or repair terms.

 

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and hope the issue can be resolved for you as quickly as possible.
