Hi, I’ve having issues with receiving calls ever since I joined ID mobile. E.g. some calls don’t show up when they ring and then I get a text message informing me of missed calls. This issue only occurred when I switched to this provider

Hi @Satnam.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing issues receiving calls since joining iD Mobile. I under how frustrating this must be.

To help resolve this, please try the following network reset steps depending on your device:

For iPhone:
Go to Settings
Tap Phone
Tap My Number
Delete the old number and re-enter your mobile number
Tap Save
Go back to Settings > Messages and turn iMessage OFF
Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone
Tap Reset > Reset Network Settings
Once your phone restarts, go back to Settings > Messages and turn iMessage back ON
Allow a few minutes for your SIM to re-register

For Android:
Go to Settings
Tap General Management
Tap Reset
Select Reset Network Settings
Restart your device once completed

Once done, please test again and let us know if you’re still experiencing the same issue so we can investigate further for you.

Hi @Satnam

Could you please check if the number displayed on your phone is your correct number, and not the temporary number you may have received?

I’d kindly ask you to go through the steps below:

To update your number:

Go to Settings
Tap Phone
Select My Number
Enter your correct number, using +44 instead of the first 0

To check your iMessage settings:

Go to Settings
Tap Messages
Ensure iMessage is turned on
Tap Send & Receive
Confirm that your correct number is selected

Alternatively, you can check via your Apple ID settings:

Go to Settings, then tap [your name]
Tap Sign-In & Security
Select your primary phone number to make changes
To remove a number, tap Remove from Account
You can also choose Add New Primary Phone or Email if needed

After trying the above steps, see if you can make and receive calls.
