When you contact the Live Chat :-

Type ‘talk to a person’ in the dialogue box and this will bypass the unhelpful chatbot. 

Please be patient as the agents handle a few conversations at any one time so there will be a delay in connecting with an available agent and also any replies to your query.

Thank you for reaching out, and I'd be happy to clarify this for you.

If you'd like to continue with iD Mobile without taking out a new handset, you may be able to upgrade to a SIM-only plan. SIM-only upgrade options become available 24 days before your minimum contract term ends, provided you're eligible.

Once you're within this period, the available SIM-only options should appear in the iD Mobile app for you to review.

Alternatively, you can contact our Sales Team via Live Chat or by calling 0800 049 0250. They'll be able to check your account and confirm which SIM-only upgrade options are available to you, subject to eligibility.

If you're not yet within the 24-day upgrade window, you'll need to wait until you're eligible before the SIM-only options become available.
