Help! Got a new phone with ID but no phone number so cant call cudtomer service!

You cant make this up. Got a new phone with ID but no phone number. I ordered an e-sim. I didnt get a text from ID.  I cant call customer service as I dont have a phone number. Cant call from old phone as thats disconnected now. Cant log in to ID account as it wants a phone number which I dont have! What to do??

Im not registered on network so cant call anyone from my new phone.

Thanks for your message, and I’m really sorry you’re stuck without access. It sounds like your eSIM has not fully activated yet, which is why you’re not receiving the setup SMS and your number isn’t showing on the device.

 

Please try:

• Go to Settings → Mobile/Cellular → Add eSIM and check if a profile is already available
• Connect to WiFi, restart your phone, then try again
• Turn Airplane Mode ON for 30 seconds, then OFF
• Check your email for the eSIM QR code/instructions and try re-scanning it if available
• If still no service: Settings → General → Reset → Reset Network Settings
 

If this still doesn’t resolve the issue, we may need to reissue or manually activate your eSIM for you

That definitely sounds frustrating.  I’m sorry you are experiencing this.

 

If you’ve ordered an eSIM, the details are usually sent via email rather than text. Could you please check your inbox for the eSIM email, including your junk/spam folders, as it can sometimes land there?

 

If you’re still unable to locate it, please let us know and we can guide you on the next steps to get you up and running as quickly as possible.

Thx. I found a phone number in emails but it doesn't work. I have no service on my phone. When I logged into id it said it sent me a code to my phone but it never arrived.

Went to settings but there is no mobile option.

Ok I went via connections to add esim but it told me to scan a QR code sent to me from id, I didn't get a QR code.

Ah I found the QR code & now have a working phone number! I was sent five different emails, phone number in one email, QR code in another email, account details in another email etc which made it difficult. Now to send them my PAC code... fingers crossed.
