hi community ,, i am still struggling lol

I have had new sim arrive only no reception when put in phone.

I have put second chip in so as have Internet to get to I'd mobile website for registration etc and when it sends conformation to new sim I cannot receive it as no reception.. 

What silly thing am I doing wrong please anyone 🙂
