If my 12 month (SIM only) contract starts 19/08/2026, is the contract finished 18/08/2027 and is that the earliest I could leave without penalty? How can I make sure that beyond the 12 months I've transferred to cheapest SIM only monthly plan? Or how soon could I change to different provider without paying for month after contract over?

I'm sorry for any confusion caused.
Based on the example you've provided, if your 12-month SIM-only contract starts on 19/08/2026, then your minimum term would end on 18/08/2027.
If you'd like to check your contract end date, you can do so in the iD Mobile app:
- Log in to the iD Mobile app or My Account online.
- Go to My Account.
- View your plan details.
- Your contract end date will be displayed there.
If you're looking to leave without paying any early termination fees, you can give notice within 30 days of your contract end date. This allows the agreement to end at the end of the minimum term without incurring an early cancellation charge.
If you'd prefer to stay with iD Mobile after the 12 months, you can contact our Sales Team near the end of your contract to discuss the cheapest SIM-only options available at that time, you would also be able to look into upgrade options 6 months into your plan.
If you're considering cancelling and believe you're still within your returns period, please let us know and we'll be happy to point you in the right direction.
