How do I get a PAC code for free so I can keep my phone number when using my new phone?

My phone says it'll charge me when i tried to text 'PAC' to 65075

    Thank you for reaching out.

     

    If you'd like to keep your current mobile number when moving to another network, you can request a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) free of charge.

     

    You can request your PAC through the iD Mobile app by following these steps:

    • Open the iD Mobile app and log in.
    • Select My Services.
    • Choose Switch or Leave iD Mobile.
    • Select Keep my number (PAC).
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to submit your request.

    Once you've received your PAC, simply provide it to your new network provider. They'll arrange the transfer of your number and your iD Mobile account will automatically disconnect once the switch has been completed.

    Just put your SIM in new phone; no PAC necessary; simples😄
