    Hi @Niluh,

Kindly note that this is a feature on the device itself, rather than with iD Mobile, for example, on a compatible iPhone with the latest iOS, you can enable Call Screening:

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Select Apps.
    3. Select Phone.
    4. Go to Screen Unknown Callers.
    5. Select Ask Reason for Calling.

When an unknown number calls, the phone will answer first and ask the caller to provide their name and reason for calling. Their response is then shown to you so you can decide whether to answer.

For Android devices, availability and the steps will depend on the manufacturer and handset model.

If you let us know which phone you’re using, we can advise whether it supports this feature and provide the relevant steps.

    Hi @Niluh,

If you’re using an iPhone 12, you can set the phone to screen unknown callers and ask them why they’re calling before your phone rings.

Please note that your iPhone 12 will need to be running iOS 26 or later for the Ask Reason for Calling feature.

    To enable it:

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Scroll down and select Apps.
    3. Select Phone.
    4. Scroll to Screen Unknown Callers.
    5. Select Ask Reason for Calling.

Once enabled, when someone whose number isn’t saved in your contacts calls you, your iPhone will ask them to provide their name/reason for calling before your phone rings. You’ll then be able to see their response and decide whether you want to answer.

If you don’t see the Screen Unknown Callers option, please check that your iPhone 12 has been updated to iOS 26 or later by going to: Settings > General > Software Update
