How do I stop voicemail from reading the number out before giving me the message I am really not interested in it at that point, and it takes ages just to listen to a 10 second message.

Thanks in advance

Hi there @acquiesce1979, I believe this is just a generic feature for voicemail for all mobiles networks, and not something that can be changed I’m afraid.

Thanks,

Tyler

Please can you make it read the number and time after the message, like it is on other providers - this is much better from a user experience perspective.

Hi @IdTed ,

Thank you for your feedback. I completely understand why it would be more convenient to hear the number and time after the message rather than before, it does make the experience quicker and more user-friendly.

Currently, this is a standard feature across our voicemail service and unfortunately cannot be changed on individual accounts.

I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

Thanks for the quick reply Lamiya. Suggest that this change is implemented across the system. I’m sure that if you were to canvass the user base about this, there would be unanimous support for it.

That’s really useful, thank you Paul.

This setting disables the reading of the message headers and only plays the message body.

I would still like to know when the message was received as well, but I will try this option and see how I go.

It is a shame that ID Mobile support themselves did not seem to be aware of this! I hope they are able to suggest it if they are asked by customers in future.

Cheers
