I am having triuble with phone conversations

While talking on my phone I hear a ping noise and then conversation drops off.  This happens after 2nd on most calls.  

Incoming calls to my phone also drop off.  Sometimes a ping noise before

    The symptoms you've described, where you hear a ping or tone before the call drops, can sometimes be related to network settings, Wi-Fi Calling, handset software, or signal fluctuations.

     

    Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    • Restart your handset
    • Toggle Airplane Mode on for 60 seconds and then off
    • Ensure your handset software is fully up to date
    • Set the handset to 4G/LTE for calls if this option is available
    • Disable Wi-Fi Calling temporarily and test calls again
    • Reset your network settings:
      • iPhone: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings
      • Android: Settings > General Management/System > Reset > Reset Mobile Network Settings
    • If possible, test the SIM in another unlocked handset
