Question

I can't switch until 5/8- if I input PAC today, will my current contract immediately cancel?

Hi all, so I’m switching to ID from three, and have a PAC code. I was told by three that when my PAC is used, my contract with them is immediately cancelled. When I input my PAC on ID, it said the earliest switch date was 5/8. If I were to confirm that switch date today (31/7), would this cancel my three contract and leave me without data/minutes for the time in between switching?

Sorry if I haven’t worded this well! Just looking for confirmation that I won't be left in the lurch!

Hi @efa,

Thanks for your question.

No, confirming your PAC transfer today will not leave you without service between now and the switch date.

Your Three service will remain active until the scheduled transfer date of 05/08. On that date, your number will move across to iD Mobile, your Three contract will automatically be cancelled, and your iD Mobile SIM will take over your number.

You may notice a brief interruption to service on the day of the transfer while the number is being moved, but you will continue to have service up until then.

We hope this helps, and welcome to iD Mobile.

Thanks,
