i cannot transfer my esim to my new phone

I have upgraded my phone and I cannot work out how to move my eSIM from my old phone to my new phone. It doesn't work when I select transfer to new by iphone

    Kindly be advised that you will need to get a new eSIM as an eSIM cannot move from one phone to another. You can also reach us via Live Chat at https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat or by phone on 0800 049 2376, and we’ll be happy to assist or download via the app the new eSIM.
