i cant switch my number from my old sim to new one

I bought a new phone and I want my old phone number on it as ive had it since I was younger, but it was an id mobile number and it won't let it switch over to my new sim

Hi @ethanp,

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble keeping your number on your new phone.

If your old number is already with iD Mobile and your new SIM is also with iD Mobile, unfortunately we won't be able to transfer the number across, as iD Mobile doesn't support internal number transfers between iD Mobile accounts.

In this situation, the only ways to keep your existing number would be:

Upgrading the existing iD Mobile plan that the number is currently on, or
Transferring the number to another network and then, if required, transferring it again.

However, if your old number is with a different network provider and you're trying to move it onto your new iD Mobile SIM using a PAC, please let us know. We'll then be happy to help you get the issue resolved.
