i want my ting to last longer before it goes to voicemail

I would like my ring on my phone to last for the maximum amount of time before it transfers to voicemail because I often can’t get to the phone quick enough

Thanks for getting in touch.

The maximum ring time before a call diverts to voicemail on iD Mobile is 30 seconds.

To set your phone to ring for the maximum amount of time, dial the following from your iD Mobile phone:

61*12330#
Then press the call button.
This should set the ring duration to 30 seconds before voicemail answers.

If you receive an error when entering the code, please let us know which handset you’re using and we can advise further.

Hi @Hayley okello,

Thanks for confirming that you’re using an iPhone 17.

As the code previously provided is returning an error, unfortunately there isn’t an option within the iPhone settings itself to increase the amount of time the phone rings before diverting to voicemail.

At this stage, we’d recommend contacting our Live Chat team so they can check the voicemail and call forwarding settings on your account and see whether the ring duration can be adjusted from their end.
