Current SIM card wont work in an iphone 11

Hi ​@samfin90,

 

I am so sorry to hear your current SIM isn’t working in your iPhone 11.

 

Please try the following steps:

  • Turn the iPhone OFF and back ON again
  • Remove the SIM and reinsert it, making sure it sits correctly in the tray
  • Go to Settings > Mobile Service / Cellular
  • Check that Mobile Data is switched ON
  • Go to Settings > Mobile Service > Network Selection
  • Make sure Automatic is enabled
  • Turn Airplane Mode ON for 30 seconds, then switch it OFF
  • Check for a Carrier Settings Update:
    • Go to Settings > General > About
    • Wait 30 seconds to see if an update prompt appears

 

If there is still no service, try a Network Reset:

  • Go to Settings > General
  • Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone
  • Tap Reset
  • Select Reset Network Settings

 

Please note this removes saved WiFi passwords and Bluetooth connections.
