Hi,
I’ve tried all the guidance to get iMessage & Facetime working since switching to ID & porting my old number but nothing works.
iPhone 17 pro max with latest iOS
Getting fed up of having to keep resetting phone  but even after full reset and entering my number in mobile service, it's not working. Some issue with port in. Please fix.

Already tried with a new esim and that too didn’t helped.

Hi @rkv,

I'm really sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with your mobile number. Please try the steps below to resolve this issue:

For iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap Phone
  3. Tap My Number
  4. Delete the old number
  5. Enter the new number
  6. Tap Save

Then follow these steps to refresh iMessage:

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap Messages
  • Turn iMessage OFF
  • Go to Settings > General
  • Tap Reset
  • Choose Reset Network Settings
  • Once your iPhone restarts, go back to Settings
  • Tap Messages
  • Turn iMessage ON again

Your iPhone should now recognise the new SIM and verify your number.

Regards,

Hi Gemma
I tried this already.
Please note I also did a complete reset and it didn’t helped as well.
Please note this a issue with porting as I also have other number with id mobile where I didn’t had this issue.
Kindly help check porting. Usually the phone number should auto populate from network provider.
