Incoming calls not working after PAC transfer from O2 to iD Mobile

I transferred my number from O2 to iD Mobile using a PAC code. Outgoing calls, texts, data and WiFi work, but incoming calls do not work at all. When somebody calls my number, the call instantly ends and I do not receive a missed call notification.

iMessage and FaceTime activation are also saying my number is not associated with this phone yet. I have already restarted my iPhone, reset network settings, turned iMessage/FaceTime off and back on, and reinserted the SIM.

Is my number port incomplete and can somebody refresh/re-provision the SIM or incoming call routing please?

    Hi @lilylouiselaw,

Thanks for getting in touch, and we’re sorry to hear you’re having issues after transferring your number from O2.

What you’re describing is a known issue that can sometimes happen shortly after a number transfer, where outgoing services work correctly but incoming calls and Apple verification services do not fully update.

    Please try the following steps:

    • Go to Settings
    • Tap Phone
    • Tap My Number
    • Delete the old number
    • Enter your transferred number
    • Tap Save

Then refresh iMessage and network settings:

    • Go to Settings
    • Tap Messages
    • Turn iMessage OFF
    • Go to Settings > General
    • Tap Reset
    • Choose Reset Network Settings

    Once your iPhone restarts:

    • Go back to Settings
    • Tap Messages
    • Turn iMessage ON again

Your iPhone should then recognise the correct number and attempt to verify it again.

If incoming calls still do not work after trying the above, please contact our Live Chat team so they can investigate the number routing and SIM provisioning further.

    Regards,
