internet is rubbish and phone battery drains

Hi folks was just wondering is everyone’s data on I really bad or is it just me, I got a contract the phone battery is shocking the data is terrible anyone know which way I can send it to get checked as I collected it at curry’s honestly think there’s something wrong with the phone constantly having to charge it and it’s not even half a year old

    Sorry to hear you’re having issues with both your battery and data. I can appreciate how frustrating that is, especially on a new phone.
     

    Please try these quick checks:

    Battery:

    Check Battery Health (if iPhone) in Settings
    Close unused apps and turn off background app refresh
    Restart the phone and check for updates
     

    Data:

    Toggle Airplane Mode on/off
    Ensure 4G/5G is enabled in Mobile Network settings
    Manually select iD Mobile/O2 network
    Reset network settings
     

    If the battery is still draining quickly after this, as the phone is under warranty from Currys, it may be worth taking it back to them for a hardware check.
