Hello, I’m trying to redeem my free gift for purchasing the OPPO Find X9 through their website but the system isn’t recognising the IMEI number.

The IMEI shown in the phone’s system status matches both the box and the device sticker, however when I try to dial *#06# I get the message:

“Running USSD code… connection problem or invalid MMI code.”
 

I’m guessing this may be why the website can’t validate the number?

I’ve already tried the common troubleshooting steps (restarting the phone, checking for updates, switching airplane mode on and off, and manually selecting the network) but the issue is still happening.

Could you please help or advise on what to do next?
