iOS 26 connectivity issues

Hi, I have an iPhone 14 Pro and upgraded to the new iOS 26. I have lost all sim connectivity. When the upgrade occurred it stated “no sim” and all connectivity is lost. I’ve subsequently reset network settings, updated network settings, simply removed the sim card and put it back in, as well as turning the phone on and off to no avail. Is anyone else having this issue or is it an iOS 26 problem with iD mobile?

Hey there @cmclean10, if the SIM works in another device, that would point more towards an issue with the device or a device setting on your current phone.

As it happened after downloading the new iOS update, I’d recommend contacting Apple first and see if they can explain why this happened, as it’s only began since doing their update, and then report back to us.

Thanks,

Tyler

Hey there @cmclean10, sorry to hear that. Have you tried resetting the network settings?

Does your SIM card work in another device?

Thanks,

Tyler

Hi Tyler, sim card works in other phones and I reset the network settings to no avail. I also tried another iD mobile sim that is working on another iPhone and it had the same issue. Chris

Have you tried a different SIM in the device?

Tyler, I did exactly as you said and contacted apple. They reckon it’s a hardware issue with my phone. I’ve rolled back to iOS 18 and it’s working again. Apologies for the hassle and thanks for checking in! Chris

@cmclean10 just wondering if you managed to upload iOS26 after deleting it?

Have an iphone 14 plus, needs iOS26 to sync with new apple watch.

Have the home internet with ID3 sim card.  I can’t get iOS26 to update.  Plenty of storage, battery, etc.  Have tried resetting, deleting the update from storage (even though it hasn’t properly updated), and starting again.  But cannot get the upload to complete.

Am wondering if it’s because it’s over ID3 rather than a “traditional” wifi connection?

(Backstory:  This is for my elderly mum so getting a bit stressed it’s not working.  Apple watch a new purchase to act as a ‘fall’ device she can make a call if anything happens without feeling like an oldie with a button call ‘thingy’! But can’t set-up watch without iOS26)

Thanks in advance for any help

update: it’s because we were trying to use ID internet, even though unlimited data, (no idea why I typed ID3, twice, above!) and managed to get it to update over wi-fi in a local cafe!

ID @Tyler C     not sure why your unlimited data is insufficient for apple iOS updates? Are you able to look into this and let me know?  thank you

Hi @666emma666  can I ask what device you are using the iD SIM in? It may be that the device isn’t approved?
