Hey everyone,
I'm having an issue with my iPhone 17 — the charging cable won't stay in the port and the phone isn't charging reliably.
I've already tried the following with no luck:
- Restarting the phone
- Cleaning out the port with a toothpick and compressed air to remove any lint/debris
- Trying different Apple-certified cables
The problem persists no matter what I do. Has anyone else experienced this with the iPhone 17? Could it be a faulty port? Is this a known hardware issue? And is it something Apple would cover under warranty?
Right now I’m relying on only MagSafe charger.
I can’t see to access the Live chat either to ask this question either even though I’ve tried on anonymous browsing, removed all blockers, allowed pop ups etc and the live chat still won’t appear.
