Upgraded to IPhone 17e tried to set phone up transferred apps & everything then noticed the satellite icon is at the top of the phone screen & isn’t recognising my SIM card which does work & having to use on old handset until sorted - can anyone shed any light on this please? Have tried all the resets they aren’t working - what next? As I’m left with a new phone that is no good for me

Hi @Laylasybil ,

Thank you for your message.

The best option would be to request a replacement eSIM. The iPhone 17e is an eSIM-only device, so the eSIM can't simply be transferred from one phone to another.

You can request a replacement eSIM by contacting us through any of the following channels:

Live Chat: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat
Facebook or Instagram: Message us through our official social media pages.
Email: socialqueries@idmobile.co.uk

Once your replacement eSIM has been issued, you'll be able to activate it on your new device.
