Question

mobile Broadband Router

If I register for an unlimited SIM to try in a broadband router from Three can I cancel the contract if I have problems or will I need to keep it for the duration?  I am sitting on 5G on my phone but Three say I do not have coverage for a broadband router. I appreciate there are technology differences but this could be a good option for me as cable broadband speeds are terrible. Thanks.

Hi @Bertie99

Thank you for reaching out.

Please note that iD Mobile SIM plans are designed and tested for use in handsets, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions. While the SIM may work in a broadband router, we cannot guarantee service performance or provide support for router-related issues.

If you were to take out a Pay Monthly contract and subsequently decide to cancel, you would be able to do so within the returns period, provided you are still within the applicable cooling-off window and meet the returns criteria.

Once outside of the returns period, the agreement would continue for the contracted term and early termination charges may apply if you choose to cancel before the contract end date.
