Question

My phone doesn't ring

My phone doesn’t ring - had it checked by an Apple expert and he says it’s the network.

He said I should get in touch with ID mobile as they need to help.

Does anyone know how or even if this is possible. (Tried bot assistant - enough said)

    Apple expert; unlikely!

Put your sim in another device; does it work?

If so, fault is in your phone settings😄

    Hi @jonathandearth.

Thank you for your post. I’m sorry your phone isn’t ringing, that’s certainly frustrating, especially after having it checked.

Before we look into this further, could you please try the following basic troubleshooting steps, which often help restore connectivity:

    • Restart your device to refresh your connection to the network.
    • Turn Airplane Mode on for around 30 seconds, then turn it off again.
    • Check that your mobile data is switched on (if you’re also experiencing data issues).
    • Remove your SIM card, gently wipe it with a clean, dry cloth, reinsert it, and restart your device.
    • Check that your device software is fully up to date.
    • Reset your network settings to refresh your device’s connection to the network.

If the issue continues after trying these steps, please contact us directly so we can review your account and escalate this to our technical team if needed.
