my phone says no sim cant make any calls is there a problem with id network

iPhone saying no sim can't make calls only on what's app. Is there a problem with network. Have restarted phone checked sim.

I’m sorry to hear your iPhone is showing No SIM and you’re unable to make calls.

As you’ve already restarted the phone and checked the SIM, please try the following:

Remove the SIM, gently wipe it with a clean, dry cloth and reinsert it securely.
Turn Airplane Mode on for around 60 seconds, then switch it back off.
Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Once the phone restarts, check whether the SIM is detected.
If possible, try your iD SIM in another unlocked phone. This will help determine whether the issue is with the SIM or your iPhone.
You can also try another working SIM in your iPhone to help rule out an issue with the handset itself.

Please note that resetting your network settings will remove saved Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth connections.

If the iD SIM is showing No SIM in another phone as well, please contact our Live Chat team so they can investigate and arrange a replacement SIM if required.
