my recent purchased phone is not working. please help to exchange

I purchased my  ohone 10 days ago and sim slot is not working i tried it my id sim and with other sim. Both are not working in the phone

Thank you for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear that your SIM slot isn’t working on your new phone. Since you’ve tried both your iD SIM and another SIM without success, it looks like the issue may be with the handset itself.
 

I recommend the following steps:

Restart your phone and try the SIM slot again.

Make sure the SIM card is correctly inserted and the tray is fully closed.

If possible, test the SIM in another phone (which you’ve done already).
 

Since the slot still isn’t working, you will need to contact the store you purchased the phone from (e.g., Currys/Carphone Warehouse) for a repair

I have done everything  and i purchased  my phone online through currys. I visited  the store yesterday and they said to contact you instead of replacing  phone  in store.

An please now i am not willing to keep my phone with me. I want to return. Because i think its only a wastage of time to raising my issue online and on complaints  Contact number. Noone is responding  with right and time is passing and after 14 days i would  not be able to exchange

If your phone develops a fault within 30 days of purchase contact iD Mobile at:-

https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat and they'll arrange an exchange.

(The Live Chat team are available 9am - 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am - 6pm Saturday and Sunday).

When contacting Live Chat, type ‘talk to a person’ in the dialogue box and this will bypass the chatbot. Please be patient as the agents handle a few conversations at any one time so there will be a delay in connecting with an available agent and also any replies to your query.
 

The iD Mobile sales team can also be reached by phone on 020 7139 1397. 
Their operating hours are between 9 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday



If your phone develops a fault after 30 days and is within the warranty period (iD Mobile offers a 12-month manufacturer warranty for new and refurbished phones, covering functional defects, software, and hardware issues), they'll repair it for you through a Currys store.
