my sim is showing unknown number also when i try to make calls it stating the sim is not registered, thi sis really annoying, never had this before ?

Hi @sargon,

I’m sorry to hear your SIM is showing as an unknown number and isn’t registering on the network.

Please try the following troubleshooting:

Restart your phone.
Turn Airplane Mode on for around 60 seconds, then switch it back off.
Remove the SIM, gently wipe it with a clean, dry cloth and reinsert it securely.
Go to your Network Selection settings, turn Automatic selection off and allow the available networks to load. Try selecting iD Mobile/Three UK manually, then switch Automatic selection back on.
Perform a network settings reset:
- iPhone: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
- Android: Settings > General Management/System > Reset > Reset Network Settings or Reset Mobile Network Settings.
If possible, test your SIM in another unlocked handset to see whether it registers on the network.

Please note that a network settings reset may remove saved Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth connections.
