Need help moving my old iD number to new contract

Hi, I recently took out a new iD Mobile contract/eSIM, but I want to keep my old iD Mobile number ending in 3611.

I requested a PAC code from my old iD Mobile SIM. When I try to enter my old number and the PAC code in the iD Mobile app, I get the error message: “Oops… something went wrong. Please try again.”

Could you please tell me how I can transfer my old iD Mobile number to my new iD Mobile contract/eSIM without losing the number?

I can provide the full mobile number and PAC code privately if needed.

Thanks for your post.

Unfortunately, iD Mobile doesn't support internal number transfers between iD Mobile accounts.

As both your old number and your new eSIM contract are with iD Mobile, the PAC code won't work, which is why you're receiving an error message when trying to submit it. PAC codes can only be used to transfer a number between different networks, not from one iD Mobile account to another.

This means we're unable to move your old iD Mobile number ending in 3611 onto your new iD Mobile contract/eSIM.

If your intention was to keep your existing number, the correct option would have been to upgrade the existing plan rather than taking out a new iD Mobile contract.

We'd recommend:

Contacting the point of sale to discuss returning the new plan, if eligible.
Then contacting our Sales Team via Live Chat to upgrade the existing plan correctly.
