New Phone

Hey I just upgraded to a new phone contract with ID mobile but through a different app. I need to transfer my old number into the new number. How do I do that?

    Hi ​@Jamie Myers,

     

    If you've taken out a new iD Mobile contract through a third-party app or retailer, but your old number is already with iD Mobile, unfortunately iD Mobile doesn't support internal number transfers between iD Mobile accounts.

     

    This means we can't move your existing iD Mobile number onto your new iD Mobile plan.

     

    The only ways to keep your existing number are:

    • Upgrade the plan that the number is already on, or
    • Transfer the number to or from a different network using a PAC.

     

    If you've taken out a new iD Mobile contract, it will have been issued with a new number, and unfortunately your existing iD Mobile number cannot be moved directly onto it.

     

    We appreciate this isn't the answer you were hoping for, and we're sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience caused.
