New phone, unable to access telegram account.

I’m trying to log in to my Telegram account, but I am not receiving the SMS verification codes on my iD Mobile number.

  • Normal SMS messages come through fine from other contacts.

  • The issue only occurs with Telegram.

  • Telegram sometimes uses short codes or international numbers for verification messages.

Could you please check if SMS messages from Telegram are being blocked on my line, or if short code / international SMS is restricted? If so, can you enable this so I can receive the verification code?

    When you go into phone settings, does your phone number show correctly?
