    Hi @Jamie19295 ,

Yes, iD Mobile does support 5G in the UK.

You’ll be able to use 5G if:

Your phone is 5G compatible, and

You’re in an area with 5G coverage.

You can check your local coverage on the iD Mobile website if needed.

If you’re not seeing 5G on your phone, let me know your phone model and model and I can help troubleshoot.

    Hi @Enak20,

Thanks for sharing, I can confirm that your device is compatible with 5G.

Please follow the below steps to connect to 5G:

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Tap Network & Internet.
    3. Tap SIMs.
    4. Select your iD Mobile SIM.
    5. Tap Preferred network type.
    6. Select 5G (Recommended) or 5G/4G/3G/2G (Auto), depending on the options shown.
    7. Restart your phone if the change doesn't take effect immediately.

If you still can't connect to 5G afterwards, make sure:

    • You're in an area with 5G coverage.
    • 5G is included with your plan.
    • Your software is up to date.
    • Airplane Mode is turned on for 30 seconds and then back off to refresh your network connection.

    Regards,

    Hi @Enak20,

Thank you do much for the above, if you do not get a 5G signal in your area it might mean that the there is some outage in the area.

    Thanks,
    Hosai
