no data or calls or texts as well as no mobile data

Hi there. I dropped my old phone in water and swapped the sim into a new phone but the address for sending and receiving calls is my phone number but it has a loading symbol on it and has for the past 5 days. As well as this my data is not working what so ever and I’ve tried multiple restarts and retries but nothing seems to be working. Can you please help

I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you're having since your old phone was damaged by water.

As the SIM was in the water-damaged handset, it's possible that the SIM itself may have been damaged. Given that you've already tried the SIM in a new phone and the issue has been ongoing for 5 days, we'd recommend getting a replacement SIM.

You can either:

Collect a replacement iD Mobile SIM free of charge from your nearest Currys store.
Contact our Live Chat team and request a replacement SIM: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

Once the replacement SIM has been activated, test your calls, texts and mobile data again.
