Not receiveing OTP from Italian Identity Provider

Hi all,

Been ID customer since 2023 and I used to use flawlessy all the service I needed, inculded an Italian Identity Service to have access to all the portal that required ID Verification (Tax Office, Ambassy portal for documents). I did use the service last year this time and had no issues. Then this summer the OTP form the Identity provider stopped suddenly to be received in my inbox. I tried to get in touch with this provider and they confirm that from their system I do receive the TEXT, but somehow it get stopped so I don’t actually receive it on my device.

I have a samsung 25ultra and all the rest of the OTP are working fine. only with this app.

Followed every single step by the guide found on this community

but without any success.

Now I’m very stuck as I need to have access to the Italian Tax Office and Ambassy ASAP and the only way is trough this app.

Hope someone can help and give any sort of advice.

If the service was working but as of recently it is not, the issue is probably with the sender and not iD Mobile. Had you ported your number between then and now, a split port might explain the issue.

Yes, I have been in touch with the Italian service provider (wich is similar to RoyalMail) and after few different emails and call they figure out that from their sistem it shows that I actually receive the text message with the OTP but somehow it get stopped to get trough my mobile. I have no blocked number for call or sms related to this service. So they are pretty sure there is an issue with IDMobile. Unfortunately I won't be able to change the phone number to receive the OTP as it work as a digital identity. They also suggest to change provider to sort this out, wich isn't in my plan until there are no other solutions.
