Not receiving voicemails left

Bit of a weird one. When people call me, and I can’t answer they are prompted to leave a voicemail. I don’t get any notification and when I call my voicemail it says no new messages. It’s almost like my voicemails are going to someone else’s mailbox. I’ve tried disabling and re-enabling voicemail, but still no joy. I have vulnerable parents that need to contact me and leave messages so I urgently need this fixed. It was working fine up to about two weeks ago.

I am having the same issue. I did a support chat but they were unable to resolve my problem. This is a problem, I will be looking to move ASAP. I see you never got a response, Hopefully you got it resolved.

I’ll try the live chat tomorrow but if I can’t get a resolution by the weekend I will need to look at another provider, as I really cannot be without working voicemail. I don’t want to leave as the service has been great up til now.

Sorry to hear that you’re both having trouble with your voicemail. Do you have this enabled on your iD app/account?

Please can you try dialing 123 from your mobile to see if you need to reset it?

Please can you try dialing 123 from your mobile to see if you need to reset it?

Hi Sian,
I do have it enabled. I have called 123 and have a vocemail message saved. I have turned the option on and off several times in my ÏD Service” on the APP and on the web site. I have left a message using another phone but no notification received nor is it saved when again I dial 123. However, when I do call my number I don't hear the message I have set-up, just the genric answering message from ID.

OK ​@TomSea  so you are able to receive voicemails, you just don’t get a notification for them, is that right?

When I dial 123 I get the usual voicemail options, just it says I have no new messages when there should be new ones. I have turned the voicemail off, rebooted phone, re-enabled vm and rebooted again, but still same. I don’t have any call forwarding on as calls do come through to me as normal. This started two weeks ago, without me making any changes to my phone or account settings.

OK, so when someone calls you they do get the option to leave a message ​@TenaciousPug ?
