Number not fully transferred

I am having issues with my messaging since transferring from O2 to ID. It is nothing to do with my iPhone or anything Apple. When I send a text it comes from a different number, friends aren’t knowing who is messaging them? I am not receiving texts needed for two step verification codes. However when I call someone my correct phone number appears. Why has the number not fully transferred? Please can this be fixed.

We are very sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing with your messages showing a different number. We understand how confusing this must be for you.

Could you please check if your number is saved correctly in your phone settings by following the steps below? If the number is missing or incorrect, kindly remove it and add the correct one:

 

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap Phone
3. Tap My Number
4. Use the delete button to remove the old number
5. Use the keypad to enter the new number
6. Tap Save
7. Restart the iPhone
