We are truly sorry to hear that when you text or call, the iD temporary number appears. I understand how frustrating that can be. Could you please check if your number is saved correctly in your phone settings by following the steps below? If the number is missing or incorrect, kindly remove it and add the correct one:

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap Phone
3. Tap My Number
4. Use the delete button to remove the old number
5. Use the keypad to enter the new number
6. Tap Save
7. Restart the iPhone

You can follow these if you are using an android:

For every Android phone, regardless of manufacturer, you'll be able to find your phone number if you go to Settings > About Phone or About Device > Status > My phone number. Some Android phones will have SIM or SIM card status listed within Status.
For using Message App, Change the phone number associated with the Messages app: Open the Messages app. Tap More More and then Settings and then Advanced. Select Phone number, then edit the number to the correct
phone number associated with your SIM card. Tap OK.
If still have issue, remove the SIM and then reboot the device and then re-insert the SIM check if this resolve the issue.
